On 23.05.2018, Vao Agro OÜ in Väike-Maarja rural municipality had the opening ceremony of modern loose housing system for young stock for 476 animals and new warehouse. Modern shed has LED lights and ventilation system, each animal has its own place with bedding mat and automatic drinking throughs. Manure is collected and removed by contemporary scrapers. Furthermore, the complex includes a new 12,000 m³ environmentally friendly liquid manure storage and contemporary silo.
Warehouse has better storage conditions for the machine fleet of the company, as well as seeds and fertilisers. Estimated total investment was 1.3 million euros.
